Mr. David Miscavige speaks about the Influence of Drugs in Society
At the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center International, on August 7, 2004, Mr. David Miscavige presented a global overview of the Scientology religion to over 2,000 leaders in the fields of the arts, entertainment, commerce and government:
"The answer to this planet's problems will not be found in the 'material.' Of this there can be no question. For if those solutions can't prevent war nation to nation, how then can it be expected to answer questions like 'love,' 'happiness' or 'peace of mind?' So, we can't expect the answer to be found in chemicals. Not unless one buys into a synthesized utopia, or a 'Brave New World,' with a perfect pleasure drug. "
"Yet that is precisely what we see in the world today, with multi-million dollar conglomerates providing a cornucopia of new pills as a panacea to all ills — making the pharmaceutical industry the most profitable business on the planet — more than banking, high finance, oil or computers. Common sense tells us it's the wrong answer." Read the full article>>>

As a writerL. Ron Hubbard has written thousands of words in many books. For me, who am absolutely not a writer, it is fascinating how some people can write so many books, I think that is great, as I do enjoy reading them, as long as I don't have to write them ;-).
Anyway L. Ron Hubbard has done some magnificent work in all his writings, not only is he writing the so many books but they are books that people are lining up to read even decades after they were originally published. As for Dianetics which has been a bestseller many times over, week after week, with more than 16 million books sold and still going strong.
But L. Ron Hubbard was also a great fiction writer one of my favorites is the "Mission Earth" series. It was great all the way through the 10 volumes and I still wanted more. It is really a great story.

Antidepressant Suicide Warning by FDA and Horror Stories Come Forward
"I had two sons — David Lee, age 8 and Billy, 16 — and my wife of 20 years — all gone. After being on Prozac for 21 days, my wife shot and killed both of these two boys…." This testimony from Tucker Moneymaker before the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hearing into an antidepressant in 1991 was ignored, along with the stories of dozens of other victims and scientists.
A panel of nine psychiatrists, many with financial ties to pharmaceutical companies, heard the chilling testimony but refused to sound the alarm that the antidepressant could cause suicide and violence. Fourteen years later, on July 1, the victims were vindicated after the FDA warned that SSRI antidepressants potentially cause suicide not just in children but also in adults. Last year, an FDA Advisory also acknowledged the drugs could cause hostility and aggression.
The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) today launched a forum on its website for victims of psychiatric drugs and misdiagnosis to report their abuse http://www.cchr.org/forms/abuse/general/en/index.htm and to revisit the 1991 FDA Hearings in a mini-documentary, "The FDA: From Cover Up to ‘Black Box’ Warning"
http://www.cchr.org/speakout/index.htm#warning
Last October, the FDA ordered a "black box" label warning that children can become suicidal while taking the drugs.

Natural Remedies to Postpartum Depression
Did you know that you do not have to take psychiatric antidepressant medications in order to remedy postpartum depression. These drugs only mask the problem, that is why some women feel even worse when trying to stop taking the drugs. As the real cause has not been found nor handled, but the situation has most likely worsened and that combined with the mind altering effects of the antidepressants, well some mothers have gone as far as killing their own children while on these drugs.
I am not sating that postpartum depression is fake or anything, it is quite real, but one has to get down to the actual cause of it. A good medical doctor can determine the nutritional deficiencies causing the problem.
Then there is the simple factor of not enough rest. I would certainly feel depressed and nearly insane if I would be woken up every two hours never getting a good nights sleep and hardly having enough energy for grocery shopping not having enough proper food to eat. Now add on top of that the stress and physical challenge of childbirth. It is hard to believe that any women can go through all that without a wink of bad feeling.
What I am trying to say is, if you find the right cause such as rest, nutrition etc. the post partum depression is history.
Here are three resources to give you more information on non-drug remedies for post partum depression:
Physical Causes of Depression
Depression can occur for several physical reasons. Anyone experiencing depression should see a nutritionist to rule out the possibility that a hormonal or nutritional factor is the cause.
Iron Deficiency Linked to Post-partum Problems
Studies have shown that anemic women may experience post-partum depression and moderate iron deficiency can slow thinking and memory.

Postpartum Depression Victim Abused by Psychiatry
This is a story that I read with disgust, as it really shows the viciousness and extent of the abuse engaged in by Psychiatrists. Read the full story of Anne Margaret, a Postpartum Depression Victim Abused by Psychiatry.
"On a bleak winter’s day in February 1970, Anne Margaret White, mother of three small children, was admitted to one of the world’s most renowned teaching hospitals, St. Thomas’s, in London, England. She was suffering from post-partum depression, which affects a number of women after giving birth.
Three months later, Anne emerged from the hospital so physically and mentally changed her own father thought she was “a zombie.” Her transformation came at the hands of a psychiatrist as respected as the hospital in which he worked. "
